When investing, a good portfolio manager will ask you about your “attitude to risk”, with Sports Investing of any kind of investing it’s perhaps more pertinent to ask what a person’s “attitude to loss” is. With any investment there will always be losses, shares can go down as well as up!
So to kick off I’ve done the first freebet this evening and I’ve underlaid it, it’s for a match tomorrow and it’s also a “refund on lose” offer so I hope I’ve counted the right way! Any profits will not show up until next report but as I’ve mentioned this underlaying tactic before I may report on it as side post all on it’s own by way of explaining, to myself as well as any readers why I think, or not, that underlaying has it’s merits.
“What’s luck got to do with it?” you may ask, when I’ve said this is Risk Free, well it is risk free but when playing the games, free spin kind of offers – which there are loads of right now – you don’t actually lose anything, but you need a wee bit of luck to have a decent sized WIN, it’s an all or nothing kind of thing when spinning the reels
I will not bet (invest) into a sporting event that I get too emotional about.. i.e. the Andy Murray US Open victory, offers were flying at me left right and centre for this match, but because I couldn’t work out the best way to use them along with the few bookies I have & I had the “I want him to win” mentality.. then I just left well alone – there will be another day
OMG, that’s 2 x new things I now do, I am apparently now a blogger, but I also Make Money betting!!! …
