So to kick off I’ve done the first freebet this evening and I’ve underlaid it, it’s for a match tomorrow and it’s also a “refund on lose” offer so I hope I’ve counted the right way! Any profits will not show up until next report but as I’ve mentioned this underlaying tactic before I may report on it as side post all on it’s own by way of explaining, to myself as well as any readers why I think, or not, that underlaying has it’s merits.
Yippee!! wasn’t going to do an End of Year report , but just a quick post as I not only reached my mini target of £1500 I smashed it – with £88 in 1 x week! ….. “if they won I got nearly twice the profit I would have done.. this technique is called “underlaying”. It paid off for me on both occasions, which is also lucky!”
In the end I did make the target and I calculated that I’ve turned over £1.8K in trades in 2+ weeks and made a profit of £7 on the trades + the £25 ‘prize’ for a total of a free £32, It probably could have been slightly more but I did make some other mistakes along the way – though making mistakes and still making a profit is fine by me.
But there’s a gotcha, I don’t know If I’ll reach this target so I’m setting myself another goal and that is to not make a loss on the qualifying trades. It would normally be expected to make a few pennies loss on each qualifying trade, but worth it because the prize is greater than the loss, however in this case because I’m not sure I can turnover enough to reach the target, I’m making it harder for myself and using it to practice research skills.
Had a bumper weekend last weekend (17th and 18th) ~ I hit a bit of luck on a freebie (no risk to me) slot game as well as managing to grab a rather profitable first time offer for text ‘betting’. .. unlike the usual adage of “if it’s too good to be true it usually is..” this one paid off
So sum total for last weekend was approx. £140! – Wish they could all be like that.
Again am at a bit of a standstill as my 12/1 horsey won, so float is again tied up at the Bookmakers – not that I’m going to try this but if you ever want a long shot winner I seem to be regularly ‘picking’ them (25% success rate so far). It never fails to amaze me that when I want them to lose, they come in – mr.t still laughs when i say “Oh No, my horse won!”
Then of course along comes EUFA Champions qualifiers last night, I’ve never done this while major footie was ongoing.. WOW much easier ….. Later yesterday evening all I had to do was check which side of the trades had won and update my spreadsheet accordingly +£19 thank you!
OMG, that’s 2 x new things I now do, I am apparently now a blogger, but I also Make Money betting!!! …
